A two –day workshop on Springshed Management and Regional Review of NER states on WDC-PMKSY-2.0 was held in Kohima, Nagaland from 18th-19th October, 2023. The workshop cum review meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Shri Nitin Khade, IAS, Joint Secretary, DoLR, MoRD, Government of India who was accompanied by 6 other Ministry officials.

The Springshed Workshop saw the participation of 15 states from across the Country including renowned agencies working in the water sector such as National Institute of Hydrology (NIH), NER, Guwahati, Advanced Center for Water Resources Development and Management (ACWADAM), Pune and Peoples Science institute (PSI), Dehradun who were also invited to share their experiences on Springshed management works. The workshop was held at Hotel Vivor, Kohima while the RegionalReview Meeting was held at the Directorate, Department of Land Resources, Kohima.
